Sandy was born in Sikeston Mo. September 17, 1957, to Jesse and Halene McGee who preceded her in
death along with Her Brother, Gary McGee and Nephew, Adam McGee.
Sandy leaves behind Husband, David Brian Couch, Son, Jeremy Robert Couch, Daughter-in-Law,
Lynetta Maria Couch, Grandchildren, David Earl Couch and Savannah Grace Couch, and nephew,
Ryan McGee.

Sandy was raised and schooled in Sikeston. In High School was a member of the “Red Peppers” and
held the position of “Demerit Chairman” and played a clarinet in the School Band.
After graduation from High School in 1976, she attended Southeast Mo. State University for two years.
On July 30, 1977, Sandy and David Couch were married in Sikeston Mo. at Murray Lane Baptist
Church.
On September 23, 1986, Sandy birthed our Son Jeremy in Sikeston.
She worked as a Bank Clerk in various banks and ended Her working career as Church Secretary of the
Nazarene Church in Sikeston Mo.

Sandy liked to go to Cardinal baseball games when we lived in Mt. Vernon Il.
Sandy loved being a “stay-at-home” Mother once our Son was born after we had moved back to
Sikeston to be close to Families.
Sandy was involved in our Son’s Elementary School’s PTA and a devoted “Classroom Mother” for His
classrooms.
Sandy enjoyed going camping and sitting around the campfire.
Sandy loved cooking and serving in the kitchen for the congregation of 1st Baptist Church in Sikeston.
While on numerous vacations in Branson Mo, going out in the evenings to cruise in the boat and then
drift listening to music on Table Rock Lake and waving at the passengers on the “Branson Belle
Showboat” as they went passed, was a favorite pastime.
In September 2018, Sandy and David moved to Branson Mo. to be closer to our “kids” who lived in
Kansas City Mo. at that time, but then eventually moved to Nixa Mo. so that we would be close to our
Grandchildren.
At home, Sandy was content to wrap-up in a “throw” even in the summer and read a book.
Sandy was a devoted member of Victor Baptist Church in Branson Mo.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 12:00 noon at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo. with Reverend Ken Mathes, officiating.
