He was born on February 14, 1957, in Sikeston Missouri, to Tom and Phyllis (Garner) Marshall.
He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston Missouri, past member of the Sikeston Jaycees and the Elks Lodge in Sikeston Missouri. He retired from Nutrien Ag Services in February 2021. He was a great family man, loved spending time with his sons, grandchildren, brothers, nieces, and nephews. He had a soft heart for all people and animals. His greatest joys were farming the family farmland in Blodgett and Sikeston. His boys were raised sleeping on various tractors or combines as he worked tirelessly on the crops. He was a big man with a bigger heart, he loved his friends as family. He was the life of most parties, he had an ability to make you laugh and was funny without effort.
Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Theresa (Glaus) Marshall, two sons, Matthew (Betty) Marshall and Robbie (Dana) Marshall all of Sikeston; five grandchildren, Mataline, Graysen, Parker, Reed, Hadleigh Marshall and one great grandson Kobe Lee Avery all of Sikeston. He is survived by his step-mother Judy Marshall of Sikeston. One brother Mike (Beth) Marshall of Sikeston; two step-sisters, Susan (Doug) Eskew of Jackson Mississippi and Karen (Johnny) Greer of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Phyllis (Garner) Marshall, and two brothers Tom and Jim Marshall.
Visitation will be held at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel on Monday, August 28, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston MO. Father Colby Elbert will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Marshall, Robbie Marshall, Patrick Hulshof, Tom Hulshof, Aaron Wade and Will Deane.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Marshall, Frank Marshall, Rob Newman and Mike Hamra.
Interment services will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston Missouri.
The family request memorials or charitable donations be made to Kenny Rogers Children's Center or St Francis Catholic School in Sikeston.
