Pearlie Mae Watson

She was born March 26, 1930 in Sikeston, MO. to the late Charley W. and Iva Sherwood Brown Sr.

On September 17, 1955 in Hernando, MS. she married Waddell “JW” Watson who preceded her in death on January 17, 1982.

She was a resident at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a good cook and baker of cakes, pies and making candy; she enjoyed quilting and making Cabbage-Patch dolls for the grandkids to enjoy.

She is survived by two daughters, Louisa (Stan) Bliss of Doniphan, MO. and Judy Reichuber of Larned, KS.; two sons, Cliff Watson of Morehouse, MO. and Roger Flanigan of Morehouse, MO.; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great- grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Watson-Green and Floretta Flanigan-Smith; one son, Johnny “Buddy” Flanigan; one step-son, Johnny Watson; and siblings, Ethel, RC, Elgy Lee, Charles Brown Jr., Dorothy Overton, Billie Gene, Mary Ruth, Billy F., Sylvester, Marvin, Shirley Powell, Barbara Casey and daughter-in-law, Barbara Flanigan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jason Schrieber, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery in Blodgett, MO.

Pallbearers will be Billy Brown, Tim Flanigan, Brandon Hoyer, Trey Oetting, Jason Allen and James Bliss.

Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Brown and Larry Schmitz.
