She was born on July 5, 1949 in Clarkton, MO to the late James and Dorothy Johnson Barnes.
On May 2, 1986 in Rolla, MO she married Norman Long who preceded her in death on September 9, 2015.
She is survived by two daughters, Angie (Paul) Tollison of Morehouse, MO and Mechelle (Philip) Banks of Sikeston, MO; one brother, David Barnes of Paragould, AR , one sister Wanda (Kenneth) Deal of Greenville, MO, one step son Chris (Tina) Long of Rolla, MO, seven grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Talbott, one brother, James Barnes and one sister, Mary Autry.
A private inurnment will be held in Rolla, MO.
