He was born on November 11, 1951 in Sikeston, MO. to the late Noal Ray Cook and Dorothy Sallee Crain.
Michael farmed in the Sikeston area and he did carpentry work in Springfield, MO.; he played on championship softball and bowling teams in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
He is survived by five brothers, Phillip (Jena) Cook of Blodgett, MO., Stanley (Jennifer Birk) Cook of Perryville, MO., Eric (Lela) Cook of Sikeston, MO., Scott (Theresa) Crain of Branson, MO. and Kenneth Crain of St. Louis, MO.; nieces and nephews, Trey Cook, Sarah Cook, Sam Cook, Kortney Mundahl, Paden Cook, Lydia Cook, Olivia Cook, Jonah Cook, Kristina Lee and Billy Aycock, Greg Crain, Jean Crain, Briar Crain, Eben Crain and Wynston Crain; great nieces and nephews, Leevi Stanley, Jaxon Allen, Torii Mundahl, Leland Patrick, Lilly Lee, Carson Cook and Tate Mundahl.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. MO.
