Born February 2, 1926 in La Forge, MO., to the late Ernest and Ellinore Boyette Lee.
She married Walter Weldon Hicks in New Madrid, MO., in December of 1942, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Brenda Hicks of Sikeston, MO.; one daughter and son-in-law, Lyvonda Joyce and William Kirkeiner of Cairo, IL.; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: one daughter, Carol Hicks; two brothers, George Lee and Elmer Lee; six sisters, Earlene Lee, Paulene Lee, Christine Lee, Lucille Lee, Mary Etta Lee and Betty Lee.
A graveside service will be held Friday October 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO. with Rev. Steve Vester, officiating.
