Born May 28, 1939 in Dearborn, MI. to the late Francis and Florence Pearcy Long.
On April 17, 1981 at Land Between the Lakes, he married Barbara Cummins Long who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.
He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO. Kenneth served in the United States Navy from 1956-1960. He retired from Fabick Brothers Equipment Co. in 1995 after twenty years of service; later he and his wife owned and operated Ken and Barb’s Clocks and Crafts in Sikeston, MO.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Jeff (LaRae) Long of Sikeston, MO.; two stepsons, Brent (Tricia) Keefer of Sikeston, MO. and Billy (Kim) Keefer of Kennett, MO.; one daughter, Tammy (Phillip) Northington of Branson, MO.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Long and one daughter, Julia Long.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO. Bro. Joe McCullough, pastor at Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO., officiating.
Due to COVID-19 concerns mask and social distancing at the graveside service is highly recommended.
