Born April 13, 1937, in Gideon, MO., to the late Raymond and Lolia Mae Pavy Cooper.
After his retirement from Complete Auto Transit as a Truck Driver, he lived on Kentucky Lake for many years where he loved to fish for crappie prior to moving back to Missouri. He also loved the St. Louis Cardinals, watching football and listening to country music.
Survivors include: one son, Brian Cooper of New Madrid, MO.; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Robin and Jimmy Kimball of New Madrid, MO. and Debbie and Chris Foster of LaPort, TX.; three brothers, Tony Cooper, Aubrey Cooper and Larry Cooper; four sisters, Flora Belle, Dewey Marie, Ercil Mae and Lois Earline; four grandchildren, Jake Kimball, Jordan Kimball, Abbie Kimball and Kristin Jones; three great grandchildren, Payton Jones, Foster Jones and Kash Kimball.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathleen, Imogene and Winona; one brother, Gary Cooper.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Rev. James Hamlett , officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. with full military honors.
