He was born on September 9, 1948, in Michigan City to the late William and Leona Kniola Nast.
On November 8, 2010, in Canalou, MO he married Tamra Lowery Nast who preceded him in death on June 27, 2024.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Uthoff of Popular Bluff, MO and Kristy (James) Whitley of Sikeston, MO; one brother, Dewayne Nast of Detroit, MI; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Rachel Uthoff.
As of Howard’s and families request there will be no memorial service.
