Harvey Raymond Harris

Harvey Raymond Harris, 71, of Sikeston, died June 27, 2013, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Born October 19, 1941, in St. Louis, to the late Howard Reynolds and Elsie Kirkpatrick Harris, he served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a Sgt. for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, retiring after thirty-eight years. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sikeston. On October 24, 1964, in Festus, he married Linda J. Gebhardt, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, John and Terri Harris of Sikeston; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard A. and Marty of Harris of Festus; and two grandchildren, Leslie Harris and Brian Harris.

Visitation will be held Monday, July l, beginning at 11 a.m. until time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Brian Ayers, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
