He was born on February 6, 1947, in Red Bay, AL to the late Frank and Helon Stockton Reid.
Frank was a veteran who was drafted to the United States Army in July of 1966. He served in Okinawa as a dog handler.
On May 16, 1981, in Bell City, MO he married Ila Reid who survives of the home in Bell City, MO.
He retired from Noranda Aluminum Inc. after 33 years as a metal handler.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Tonda Johnson and son in law Eric Johnson of Poplar Bluff, MO; one brother, David Reid of Texas; one granddaughter, Bria Rodgers and grandson in law Nathan Rodgers of Sikeston, MO; one great grandson on the way, Nolan Rodgers and beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Reid and two sisters, Diane Farguhar and DeEtta Linthicum.
Based on Frank’s wishes no services will be held.
