Carolyn Jane Sutton

Born September 2, 1939, at East Prairie, MO to the late Roy L and Mable I (Proffer) Williams.

She retired from Brown Shoe Company in Sikeston after working there for several years.

On August 31, 1957, at Hernando, MS she married Robert Marcus Sutton, they were married until his death in 2007.

She is survived by one daughter, Monetta Houston; two granddaughters, Chelsea and Jason Lambert, Emily and Dan Bemis and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Larry and Linda Parker and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Williams Beck and her brother, Frank Williams, and her son in law, Greg Houston.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
