She was born on January 1, 1949, in Matthews, MO to the late Claude and Alpha Burney Plunk.
On July 30, 1968, in Matthews, MO she married Tommy Kelso who preceded her in death on August, 8, 1987.
She is survived by three sisters, Pat (Ron) Cook of Sikeston, MO, Carolyn (Tevis) Noles of Sikeston, MO and Gail (Charles) Lawrence of Nixa, MO.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Cory Kelso and three brothers, Bobby Plunk, Gerald Plunk and Charlie Plunk.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO with Danny Kuykendall, officiating.
