Arthur Romanowski

He was born on August 10, 1938 in River Rouge, Michigan to the late June Compeau Romanowski.

On March 28, 1957 in Wyandotte, Michigan he married Bonnie Zuanne Romanowski who preceded him in death on February 3, 2019.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1962. He retired from Noranda Aluminum Co. after twenty-five plus years of service. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and spending time with his family.

He was survived by two sons, Arthur A. Romanowski of New Market, IA. and Chris Romanowski of Dixon, MO.: one daughter Donna Romanowski of Newburg, MO.; thirty-two grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren and three on the way.

He was preceded in death by one son Walter Romanowski; one daughter Dawn York; two brothers Bob Reiman and Marvin Reiman and one great granddaughter Dailee Anne Schaefer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Brock Thornsbrough, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Christian Romanowski, Micheal Sooter, Brandon Schaefer, Shane Huff, Nathan Romanowski and Tyler Romanowski.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Barton, Michael Shoemate, Doug York, Ayden Sunderman and Evan Romanowski.
