Shirley Marie Stoddart

STODDART, Shirley Marie – 74, Lantz/Rockdale, passed away peacefully at the Halifax Infirmary QE 11 on Friday June 24rh, 2011. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jean (Keddy) Stoddart. She was a resident of Halifax in her youth and for a period in Rockdale, Cape Breton and for the past years in Lantz. She is survived by brothers Albert (Elaine) in Lantz, Jim in British Columbia, Doug (Nola) Head Jeddore, Ron (Linda) Eastern Passage, and Murray of Truro, Sisters Helen Arnold of Lantz, Rita (John) Moxsom of Hardwoodlands, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister at birth, and also sisters Geraldine and Joan, and companion Richard H. Martell of Rockdale C.B. There will be no visitation by her request. A service of remembrance will be held 1 pm Wednesday June 29th, 2011 at Ettinger Funeral Home Chapel 2812 Hwy # 2 Shubenacadie with Rev Lori Crocker officiating. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery Mill Village. Family flowers only donations may be made to the Diabetic Association or Charity of your choice.
