HILL, Devan Michael – 33, Lantz, passed away suddenly on August 26, 2013 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Donald and Carol White-Hill. Devan had just started his new career as an equipment operator for Calfrac Coil Tubing Services in Red Deer Alberta formerly with Schlumberger Coil Tubing Services in Whitecourt, Alberta. He loved NASCAR racing and anything to do with cars, spending time with friends and family and “Theo” his Burnese Mountain dog. He was a wonderful father and loved spending time with his children more than anything. He lived in Whitecourt for the past eight years and had just recently moved home to be near family. He is survived by his wife Melissa, children Leslie Catherine and Lachlan Donald both at home; brother Kelsey (Erin) Hill; mother in-law Catherine Miller, fathers in-law Steven Miller and Thom Adams, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 6-9pm, Friday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie from where funeral service will be held 10am, Saturday, August 31, Rev. Canon David Fletcher and Rev. Patty McKenna officiating.
