Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Worley Lee Reeves, 85, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor David Radford. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Worley was born on March 11, 1931 and passed away on October 18, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. He was a dedicated and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mr. Reeves served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. Worley was a member of North Desoto Church of God and the El Karubah Shriners Lodge. He loved fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jettie Reeves; his parents and son, Russell Reeves.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Worley are his daughters, Carol Wadsworth and husband David and Rebecca Ebey; stepdaughter, Pamela Pirie and husband Graeme; stepson, Mark Vines and wife Paula; sisters, Welcome Holiday and husband Gerald and Carrie Brock and husband Darrell; sister in law, Rebecca Turner and husband Rodney, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Honoring Mr. Reeves as pallbearers will be: David Wadsworth, Larry Meshell, Ronnie Salzman, Graeme Pirie and Mark Vines.
Mr. Reeves is at peace and after 5 months has finally been reunited with the love of his life, Jettie.
