Mr. William Slawson

William D. Slawson, Jr. was born Saturday, August 20, 1932 to William D. Slawson, Sr. and Annie Carney Slawson in Shreveport, LA and entered into heavenly rest on Monday, March 21, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Charlotte M. Slawson, his son David R. Slawson, and his two brothers Charles M. and Harold Slawson.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Donald W. Slawson, his daughters Brenda D. Badgett and Penny A. Anthony, his sister Irene Bridges, and his grandchildren Christy Hooper, Melissa Briza, Bob Slawson, Ruthanne Floen, Kevin Badgett, David Badgett and Luke Anthony. He will also be remembered with great affection by his great grandchildren Andrew, Abby, Christina, Thomas, William, Hailey, Gracie, Isaac, Stephen, Kera, Kaleb, Aaron and Jacob.

You are invited to join the family as they celebrate his life with a visitation on Saturday, March 26, 2106 from 12-1:45 P.M., followed by a graveside ceremony at 2 P.M. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home and Park.
