Vicki Lynn Nelms Davis

Vicki Lynn Nelms Davis, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the age of 55. She was born October 2, 1965 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Gene Thomas and JoAnn Dowden Nelms. She was a graduate of Bossier High School. Vicki worked for Wabash as a secretary for many years before becoming a stay-at-home wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards, dominos, word games and board games with family and friends. Vicki liked her murder mystery shows and anything that was on television. She loved spending time with her family but she did enjoy her quiet time. She would do anything to help others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Avery Davis; son, Dylan Davis; daughters, Elizabeth Wise and Deana Colucci; grandchildren, Dalton, Dexi, Lyndsie, Serenity, Mellie and Mauricio; father, Gene Nelms; brother, Zachary Nelms, and numerous extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Kristen; mother, JoAnn Nelms; sister, Shelley Nelms Jordan; maternal grandparents, Irvin and Maggie Dowden; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Ruby Nelms; seven uncles and seven aunts.

A graveside service for Vicki Lynn Nelms will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
