Mr. Tracey Lamon Mayes

Forbing, LA- A memorial service celebrating the life of Tracey Lamon Mayes, 46, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Mayes was born on February 28, 1968 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on August 4, 2014 in Forbing, LA. Tracey was a loving and devoted son, father and brother. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with friends and family. Tracey will always be remembered as being the life of the party.

Mr. Mayes was preceded in death by his mother, Nita Mayes Kirkham; his grandparents and his stepfather, Bud Kirkham.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Tracey are his wife, Rhonda Mayes; children, Taylor Mayes and Zoey Mayes; father, Marsolina Montanez and wife Carolyn; siblings, Randy Young, Sherry Mathews and husband Jerry, Jack Young and wife Tracye, Christy Edwards and husband Craig, Teresa Beard and husband Blain and Jennifer Edwards and husband Adam; and special friend, Shenoa Petersen. Tracey is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
