The first job Thomas ever had was at the age of seven, picking cotton beside his daddy, which he loved and cherished. He was a tree surgeon, truck driver, farmer, and head trouble maker. Thomas loved anything that had to do with the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, and taking care of his animals. He was always a great neighbor and would help anyone who had a need. He definitely had a green thumb. He could put a stick in the ground and grow a tree. His favorite time was sitting outside and just talking. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Lea Bonner and Willie Mae Shankle Bonner; daughter, Candy Bonner McVicar; grandson, Greggory Bonner; brother, Wayne Bonner; sisters, Irene Ware, Wanda Mouse and Francis Jamieson.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughters, Anita Bonner and Brenda Finney (Johnny); grandchildren, Linda McVicar, Christopher McVicar (Sarah), Christina Berry (Chris); great grandchildren, Landyn Berry, Bubba Berry, and Layla Berry; aunt, Norma Joyce. He is also survived by many friends and loved ones.
