She attended Louisiana Tech, before earning her Master’s Degree in Education from Northwestern State University. She retired from teaching at Summer Grove Elementary School, where she taught fourth grade. Susan was an avid LSU Football fan. She also enjoyed going to the movies with Pat, shopping and decorating. She was a loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all her knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, of 51 years, Ronald Hayes; son, Andrew Hayes; nephews, Mickey Moloney and Mark Moloney; and niece, Marcia Bruce.
She is preceded in death by her son, Dustin Hayes; brother, Mike Moloney; mother, Madrian Moloney; sister-in-law, Brenda Moloney.
A graveside service for Susan will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
