Memorial services to celebrate the life of Susan Lewing Fleming, 65, will be held at 5:00 p.m.,Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Murphy officiating.

Visitation will be at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Susan was born on November 17, 1945, to the late J. Hugh and Eddie Belle Lewing of Mansfield, LA and entered into rest on June 14, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. She held a Masters Degree in Primary Education but her main focus was her family. She was a loving mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Fleming; daughter Sarah Alese Cantor; great-granddaughter Madison Paige; and her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Dr. Hugh Lewing and wife Ann of Heber Springs, AR; her children, Elizabeth Hickingbottom of Doyline, LA, Suzanne White and husband John of Bossier City, LA, and Guy Fleming and wife Mary of Ringgold, LA; step-children, Debra Dillard and husband Dr. Leigh of Mansfield, LA, Michael Fleming and wife Sherry of Shreveport, LA, and Donna Fleming and husband Bob of Keatchie, LA; twenty grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
