Rudolph Clifton Johnson, Jr.

Shreveport, LA Rudolph C. Johnson, Jr. was born June 21, 1936 in Lewisville, AR. His parents were Rudolph, Sr. and Hazel McClendon Johnson. He went home to be with his Lord December 6, 2014 in Shreveport.

Rudy was a radio engineer and an employee of Keel Radio for 25 years and KRMD for 13 years. After retiring he worked parttime for the Radio Group.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Smith. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sally Watson Johnson; sister-in-law, Mary W. Boehmer and husband Roger; niece, Laura Boehmer Bullock and husband Brad with their children, Bailey, Abigail, and Emma; cousins, Johnny McClendon and wife Martha and their daughter Amanda Hilburn, and David Kelly; and a host of friends.

His family will celebrate his life and devotion to God Wednesday, December 10, 2014, 10:30 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Murry Hodge. Visitation with the family will be 9:30 Wednesday until service time at the funeral home. A private family interment will be that afternoon in Wilson Cemetery, Lewisville, AR with Rev. Brad Bullock officiating.

Pallbearers are Mike Cline, Bill Long, Jimmy Miller, Tom Montgomery, Tommy Moore, Don Smith, Ed Tesno, Eddie Thurmond, D. C. Warren, and Marvin Wren (J. J. O’Brien).
