Ronald Lynn Mills

Ronald Lynn Mills, Born October 5, 1950 and went to rest Friday August 14, 2020 after battling an extended illness. Ronnie was born in Kirbyville, Texas and grew up mostly in Center, Texas. His father’s work carried them on adventures around the country.

Ronnie Followed in his dad’s line of work. He served four years in Carpenters Union apprenticeship. He went on to work as a pipefitter and millwright for several companies, including Brown and Root, General Motors.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father James Jack Mills; mother Iris Faye Mitchell Mills Clarkston and sister Ann Mills McGuire.

Ronnie is survived by children Ronald Mills Jr., and Kim Mills; Grandchildren Taylor, Audrey, Alyssa, Memphis, Aurora; brother Randolph Mills and wife Brenda; sister Margie Mills Hennigan and husband Radian. Ronnie is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held for Ronnie on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 10:00am at the pavilion in Centuries Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands of Northwest Louisiana, 10415 Colworth Place Keithville, LA 71047. Helping Hands of Northwest Louisiana is a ministry that feeds the homeless of our area. Also provides blanket, coats, gloves, hats, socks and toiletries.
