Robert Edward Scaife

Funeral services for Robert Edward Scaife will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home and visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. to the time of service. Robert will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park. Pastor Rich Varner will be officiating the service. Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Caddo Parish Sheriff Department.

Robert was born on October 27, 1946 in Shreveport to George Scaife and Virgina Acklen. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1964. He worked for the Shreveport Police Department for 28 years and for the Caddo Parish Sheriff Department for 10 years. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, cooking, shopping, spending time with his family. Robert was also a gun enthusiast. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Julia Baird Scaife; his children, John Scaife wife Lisa, Robert Jeffrey Scaife wife Trina, James Miller wife Connie, and Jeffrey Daniel Miller wife Tamara; his grandchildren, Jaimee, Madison, Jeffrey,Jr., Macey, Jax, Jordan, Brian wife Ashly, Robbie, and Kelly; a great grandchild, Wyatt; a brother, George wife Vera; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Scaife Duncan.
