Richard "Pete" Leon Johnson II

Pete was born on May 26, 1967 to Richard Johnson and Sue (Thomas) Johnson in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

Pete grew up and attending grade school in Shidler, Oklahoma until the age of 10 when his Family moved to Sheffield, Texas. He graduated from Iraan High School in 1986.

After graduation, he attended DeVry University where he studied Computer Information Systems. And then on November 21, 1989, Pete joined the United States Air Force and Proudly served his Country as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Journeyman for 8 years and 1 month.

After his discharge from the Air Force, on March 5, 1998, Pete made his home in Shreveport and began his Career at SWEPCO where he was employed until his passing.

Pete was preceded in death by his Parents, Richard and Sue Johnson, younger Brother, Jack and his beloved Aunt Betty.

Pete had the Biggest Heart and always put everyone else before himself.

A celebration of life for Pete will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
