Phillip S. Wakely

Phil joined the Air Force in 1957 and served 4 years at Barksdale Air Force Base. He worked for 30 years at the local AT&T plant. He then worked for several years at Enterprise Rental before his last job at Bacon's Tackle.

Mourning his loss are his wife of 59 years Ginger, son, Eric, daughter, Vicki and grandson, Nicholas. Also mourning his loss, are family members in Michigan and Tennessee.

A celebration of life for Phil will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Officiating his service will be Pastor Keith Tarkington. He will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park.
