Pauline H. Ferguson

Pauline "Polly" Hinton Ferguson, age 86 passed away on Friday December 1, 2017 at her home in Pearl River, Louisiana. Pauline "Polly" Hinton was born October 9, 1931 in Belmont , Louisiana to Ina Mae Hinton and Eugene G. Hinton.

During her life she worked as Nurse (LPN) before retiring to start her family when her daughter was born. She became a Girl Scout leader during her daughter's time in the Girl Scouts. She was a devoted Christian who would spend her nights praying for all the people she knew and loved. She loved reading, playing Scrabble, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.

Pauline is survived by; daughter, Paula Townson and husband Kerry Townson; grandchild, Stephanie Ohler, great grandchildren Jeffrey Ohler and Jude Ohler; and her dear friend, Judy Neff Trevino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Russell Ferguson; her parents; brothers, Gordon E Hinton and H.E. Buddy Hinton; and sisters, Bennie Warmack and Shirley Buchheit.

A visitation for Pauline will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd , Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport , Louisiana 71108. An interment will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
