Patricia was a faithful member of King's Temple UPC and loved singing at church. Many of her friends will remember her beautiful voice. She also enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, and was known for her great food. Over the years she developed a love for flowers and loved tending her flowers. Patricia was a homemaker most of her life and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family dearly. Patricia will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her most.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Quinton Lee and Lois Cooley Stringer; son, Kevin Mitchell Parker and brother, Kenneth Stringer.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Lonnie Parker; sons, Kenneth Michael Parker and Jeffery Braden Parker; grandchildren, Hannah Parker and Connor Parker; sisters, Judith Mohawk and Linda Langford.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Damon Magee officiating. Interment will take place in Centuries Memorial Park. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Jeremiah Mohawk, Connor Parker, Kip Carson, Michael Clover, Michael Parker and Jeffery Parker.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Patricia's neighbor, Terri Jordan for her concern and help during this difficult time.
