Nellie Bell Lusby was born June 4, 1930 in Shreveport, LA, her parents were William Robert and Lovonia Lusby. She went to her Heavenly Home May, 6, 2019 in Shreveport.
Ms. Lusby taught School in Virginia and later taught pre-school at First Baptist Bossier. More recently she was a faithful member of Woodridge Baptist Church and worked in the nursery there.
Ms. Lusby is preceded in death by her parents, William Robert and Lovonia Lusby, siblings, Irma Leon, James Lusby, Rudolph Lusby, Kenneth Lusby, Barbara Miley and Betty Jo Lusby. She is survived by her sister, Elaine McInturf, and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating the life of Nellie Bell Lusby will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the graveside in Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport, LA.
