I love thinking about Daddy in heaven, and enjoy wondering what he is doing there.  I know the happiness, joy and perfection of his heavenly home is beyond words. I can't wait to see him there.

Barbara and family, George and I loved Maurice as we love all of you.  You and Maurice have always been so good to and so good for each other.  You had engagement parties in your home for both of our daughters; nothing endears a parent more than knowing their children are loved. You and Maurice attended Ashley and Martin's wedding on October 6; later I learned that it was opening day of one of the hunting seasons (maybe deer).  That was surely a sacrifice for Maurice. 

We've enjoyed dining with you and Maurice and watching our grandchildren's sporting events together.  

Now, he's in perfect health in the presence of Jesus.  Love, Margaret and George

  It was a Blessing to know Mr. Maurice.  I know you will miss him terribly, but take comfort that he is finally Home & Renewed with his Precious Lord & Savior.

 During the Cold War, I was "Morie's" Aircraft Commander/Instructor Pilot in the Strategic Air Command; he was such an exceptional pilot, that we up-graded him early to Aircraft Commander status, with his own combat crew. Thereafter, we remained close friends & in contact.

Maurice was such a special brother-in-law. I coudn't have asked for a more caring, loving brothrr-in-law.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He always loved a good joke and loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Sending prayers for my sweet sister, Barbara, her girls, and Maurice's family.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Maurice D. Regan, Sr. our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Maurice.   And to Maurice it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars while serving as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.  Maurice, we commend you for your honorable service. You are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country.  You were a true friend.  We bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.

Uncle Maurice was such a kind, loving, giving, Christian man.  He loved his family and friends so much, and would help them in anyway. Also, he was always smiling!  He will be truly missed, but I know he is rejoicing now in Heaven!
