Mrs. Mary Katherine White Miller

Bossier City, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Katherine Miller, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mary was born on March 20, 1931 in Gulfport, MS and passed away peacefully on July 28, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Miller loved her family and was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She was selfless and had a servant’s heart, always helping those who needed it. Mary enjoyed talking on the phone with family and friends and also playing pinochle. Mrs. Miller retired from AT&T after 35 years of service.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Miller; daughters, Linda Elaine Miller and Patricia Cheryl Miller and brothers, Donald White and Royce White.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Mary are her daughter, Valerie Chewning and husband Dudley; grandchildren, Michelle Vrana and husband John and Austin Chewning; great grandsons, Miller and Grady Vrana; “adopted son” Terry Hargrave and wife Peggy. She is also survived by wonderful sister in laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
