Mary Evelyn Geiger was born in Winnfield, Louisiana on August 15, 1922 and passed away in Katy, Texas on January 29, 2019 at 96 years old.

Born to Gilliam and Menita Parrish, she was 1 of 8 siblings. Widowed to US Army Veteran Leonard Raymond Geiger.

She was a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana for 62 years and retired from Barksdale Air Force Base for service of over 20 years.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Trammell, 2 grandchildren Timothy and Stacey Trammell, and 4 great grandchildren Kendall Wilson, Maddyson Mingus, Colten Trammell and Willow Trammell and her best friend Bella-her dog.

A service celebrating the life of Mary Evelyn Geiger will be held Monday, February 4, 2019, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Trammell, Matthew Mingus, Doug White, David White and Bob Verver.
