Services for Ms. Marsha Neal Wade, 81, of Bedford, Texas, will be held in the Chapel of the Centuries Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m Saturday, January 21, 2017. Interment will follow in the Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, January 20 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Ms. Wade passed away at home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Vivian, LA on June 5, 1935 to Rochelle and Dixie Harrell. She worked most of her life in the banking industry before she retired to spend time with her husband and her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Rochelle Van Hoof and Virginia Sumner, and her nephew Robert A. (Bimbo) Harrell. Survivors include her husband Marion (Bud) Wade of Bedford, Texas, three sons, David Allen (Barbara) of Bossier City, LA, Paul Allen of Bossier City, and John W. R. Allen (Barbara) of Benton; sisters Quenten Pugh of Bossier City, Ella Warrington (Wilmer) of Shreveport, and Donnie Clark of Corpus Christi, TX; and brothers R. H. (Bob) Harrell of Shreveport, and Kenneth Wilkerson (Linda) of Crowley, LA.; grandchildren Jennifer Tucker (Kirk), Michael Jones (Michelle), James D. Allen (Julie), Micheal P. Allen (Kari), Jonathan W. R. Allen, and Nicholas A. Allen; great grandchildren Nate, Lydia, Ella, Isaac, Elise, Levi, Selah, and Jonah Allen, Miles Tucker, Kelsey, Jaden and Monroe Jones, great-great granddaughter Londynn Jones, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be her sons, David Allen, Paul Allen, and John Allen, grandson James D. Allen, nephew James Pugh, and family friend Kyle Hickman.
