She was a devoted wife and mother, and she took both jobs very seriously. Our mother was an accomplished bridge player, a hobby that she dearly enjoyed. She was a voracious reader, was very artistic, and had a keen wit. She loved to bake and was ahead of her time in her food artistry. There was nothing more important in her life than her faith and her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald L. Hershberger; children, Jennifer D. Hershberger (Carmel, IN) and D. Gregory Hershberger (Keithville, LA); granddaughter, Christina (Lane) Killebrew (Shreveport, LA); great granddaughters, Lauren, Ashlyn and Mallory Killebrew; niece and godchild, Tracy Robinson Kidd (Maryland).
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Young Robinson; stepfather, James Marion Robinson; and brother, James Roderick Robinson.
