Born in Carthage, Texas, to Arlene McCann and Peter McCann, Lorice was a woman who truly lived life to the fullest. As a licensed Practical Nurse, she devoted herself to caring for others, offering comfort and kindness to all who knew her. Lorice served on the Keatchie City Council and was honored for her tireless service to her community and church. Her heart was always open, whether she was teaching women’s Sunday School, serving as the secretary at Good Hope Baptist Church, or simply lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

But above all, Lorice cherished time spent with her family. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and an open door for anyone who needed her.
