A Celebration of Life service for Lois D. Mangham will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Mark Crook of Trees City Baptist Church will officiate.
Lois was born on January 30, 1939 to William and Ethel Dunbar in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was called to her Heavenly home July 29, 2022. Lois was an active member of Woodridge Baptist Church. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling, fishing, & playing cards with her husband & her family every Thursday night. (She won 90% of the time). Her competitive spirit in her card games will be forever remembered. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball (especially LSU). Her favorite pastime of all was rocking her great grandchildren on her front porch. To them, she will forever and always be their Nana.
Lois was preceded in death by her three brothers; Bill Dunbar, Calvin Dunbar, and Kenneth Dunbar; and her four sisters; Lenor Zeiglar, Thelma Kelly, Margaret Dixon & Bessie Mae Chance. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 63 years, Bobby Ray, her brother, Richard Dunbar, her sister, Dora Hord Kaylor, her daughter, Pam Coke & husband Randy; her son Mike Mangham & wife Shoni; son Mark Mangham & wife Milisa; her four grandchildren, Jaime (Jarrad), Jason(Stefanie), Blaise & Marilyn; her 6 great-grandchildren, Carson Coke, Abram Wolfe, Bryson Coke, Abbott Wolfe, Elena Coke, & her namesake Eleanor Wolfe; & numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Blaise Mangham, Jason Coke, Jarrad Wolfe, Brett Jones, Murray Hord, Gary Hord, Kenneth Mangham, Paul Maranto.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to DPFD, Willis Knighton Pierremont ER & ICU. Dr. Gandhi and staff, Willis-Knighton North 4th Floor and ICU. Dr. Cory Markham, Dr. Kasabali, Dr Barz, Dr Raley & all of the PT,OT, XR staff that were so sweet and caring to our Mama during her stay.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to: American Heart Association & St Jude.
