Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lillian Ruth Bissell Stevenson, 89, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with her son, Rev. Luke Bissell, officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lillian was preceded in death by her first husband, Lavell L. Bissell; her parents; one brother and two sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mr. Sidney R. Stevenson; sons, Luke Bissell and wife, Rebecca and Leamon Bissell and wife, Frances; sisters, Kathy Harrold and husband, Bill and Lorraine Campbell; grandchildren, Toni, Donnie, Jennifer and Mary; and seven great-grandchildren.
