Leon L. Woodall

Shreveport, LA A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Leon L. Woodall, 84, will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home on Monday May 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Billy Crosby officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family is Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Leon Woodall was born on August 31, 1930, in Chesnut, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Daniel and Martha Elizabeth Woodall, and one daughter, Nila Woodall White. Leon Woodall was called home May 14, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mr. Woodall was a Marine Corps Veteran who served in the Korean War. He was also an insurance salesman for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, sports, playing his guitar and singing with the family.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, LaQuita Woodall, and children, Charlotte Ward and husband Johnny, Ronald Woodall and wife Kathy. Anita Whitley and husband Eddie. Beth Shepherd and husband Russell, and Danny Woodall; one sister, Bernice Harvey, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Honoring Mr. Woodall as pallbearers will be his grandsons.
