Karen D. McDearmont

It is with great sadness that we announce that after a courageous battle with cancer, Karen has entered into her forever home. Heaven has gained a very sweet soul.

All who knew Karen knew her to be the life of the party, the loyal friend, the social butterfly, the dedicated hair stylist for over 35 years. She loved to dance, ride her Harley and four wheeler, and spend time with friends.

She will be forever missed by all that loved her. Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Andy McDearmont, sister, Rhonda House, brother, Maurice Wrigley, father, Moe Wrigley and stepmom Susan, grandparents, Robert and Rena Mathews and sister, Vicki Trotta. Karen is survived by her Mother, Rita Jones, First Cousin, Delores Bounds, Sisters, Kimberly Armstrong and Stephen Thomas, Kathy McCoy, and Kristy Bradley and husband Michael Karen was a loving mother of two sons, Stephen and Daniel Brewer and grandson Dylan Brewer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and more friends than you can count.

A service celebrating the life of Karen will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019, 12:00 Noon at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM before the service.

Pallbearers are James Spivey, Charlie Ham, Kyle Booker, Richard McBroom, David Stone, Fred Martin, and Curtis Horn.
