Judy worked as a beautician for many years. She had a love for animals, especially her dogs, and loved spending hours each day on her computer. She loved spending time with her family. Judy will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her most.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton E. Thornton, Jr.; son, Trey S. Copeland; parents, George W. Lawrence, Jr. and Frances Lawrence and three (3) brothers.
Left to cherish her memory is her grandson, William R.M. Copeland; granddaughter, Ankara M. Powell and great granddaughters, Emma and Marie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
