Shreveport,LA-Funeral services celebrating the life of Joseph Cascio, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Cascio was born on February 10, 1926 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on March 13, 2015. He was a dedicated and devoted husband and father. Joe was a very kind person who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and dancing. Joe served as the King of the Krewe of Elders in 2008. Mr. Cascio served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Mr. Cascio was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Rose Cascio; siblings, Albert J. Cascio, Jimmy Cascio, Annie Custis, Connie Gillio and Mary Cascio.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Joe are his wife, Gail Cascio; one son, Rodney Cascio; step-daughters, Barbara Saindon, Cheryl Stekette and Paula Garsee; nieces and nephews, Rose Marie Krueper, Linda Glenn, Sarah Lynn Sepulvado, Margaret Ann Monroe, Barbara Miciotto, Rose Ann Cascio Stanford, Anthony J. Cascio and Rodney J. Cascio. Mr. Cascio is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Honoring Mr. Cascio as pallbearers will be: Tony Cascio, Greg Thacher, Tom Krueper, Doug Garsee, Richard Skyles and George Cascio.
