He served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1970. He then worked as a master heavy equipment mechanic at River City Iron and Metal. He enjoyed working on small engines, riding motorcycles, and fishing. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Deborah Clark; children, Sheryl Knowles and husband Keith, Sandra Branim and husband Phillip, and John Clark II and wife Nicole; mother, Dorothy Murff; sisters, Katherine Schultz and husband James, and Elaine Lancen and husband Jim; aunts, Edith Parkers and Becky Swint; gradchildren, Justin, Leigh Anne, David, Courtnie, Bryce, C.J., Quinn, and Karissa.
He is preceded in death by his father, John W. Clark; and uncles, Bob, Earl, James, and John Clark.
A graveside for Mr. Clark will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, Louisiana 71047. Bro. Luke Bissell will be officiating the service.
