Jerry Del Green, Sr.

A service celebrating the life of Jerry D. Green, Sr. will be held Monday, August 15, 2016, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Green was born December 20, 1952 in Vivian, LA, his parents were Jerome and Retha Mae Green. He went to be with his Lord August 10, 2016 at his home.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was always a hardworking man with a generous heart, joyful spirit and a fun sense of humor. He was co-owner of A.A.C.E., Inc. and was previously employed by E.L. Burns Co. Inc.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jerome Edward Green; his brother-in-law Billy Kile; and a nephew, Stephen Kile. He is survived by his wife Linda Featherngill Green; son, Jerry D. Green, Jr. and wife Sheri; his sister, Teresa Kile; brother, Jeff Green and wife Connie; his stepdaughter, Christine Champion Giddens; stepson, Ryan Webb and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Audrey Giddens, Cassidy Giddens, Blayne Webb and Briley Webb; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
