Mr. James William Johnson Jr.

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of James William Johnson, Jr., 74, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Minister Floyd Johnson. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

James was born on June 8, 1938 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on January 7, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. He was an Electrician for 55 years with IBEW 194. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed music, going to the lake, playing the guitar, genealogy and reminiscing about old times. Mr. Johnson served his country proudly in the US Navy.

Preceding Mr. Johnson in death were his parents, James W. Johnson, Sr. and Bertie Mae.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of James are his children, Jimmy DeWayne Johnson of Shreveport, LA, Karen Johnson Foster of DeBerry, TX and Kristin Walker and husband Breland of Shreveport, LA; one sister, Mary Katherine Baker of DeBerry, TX; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Mark, Craig, Becca, Cody and Breanna; great grandchildren, Camden and Hunter; nieces, Mandy and Savana; nephew, Tristan and special brother in laws, Ray Howell and John Castore.

Honoring Mr. Johnson as pallbearers will be: Alen Kyson, Billy Kirkland, Cody Walker, Brandon Johnson, Craig Johnson and Mark Johnson. Honorary pallbearer will be grandson, Michael Johnson.
