A graveside service for James Harrison Anders Jr., will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, Louisiana 71047. Following the graveside service will be a visitation celebrating James from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
James Harrison Anders Jr. was born in McComb, Mississippi to the late Rosemary and James Harrison Anders Sr. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971 during the Vietnam War. After returning home, He became an Electrician until retiring. He was an avid New Orleans Saints Fan and loved listening to music. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. James passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the age of 75. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Jane Anders; daughters, Mary Braudaway and Kelly Anders ; grandchildren, Hailey Skelton and husband Doug, Cameron Braudaway and Aidan Braudaway; great grandchildren, Ryder Skelton and Hartlynn Skelton; sister, Dianne Walker and husband, Gordon; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
