BOSSIER CITY, LA. – Celebration of Life Services for Henry “Son” Stone will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held preceding the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Mr. Stone was born August 13, 1927 to Henry Francis Stone and Ethel M. Stone and passed away
on May 16, 2012. Mr. Stone was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He faithfully served his country as a Corporal in Co. “D” 38th Infantry of the U.S. Army. He served in the Korean Conflict where he received the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart, Army Occupation Medal (Japan), Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Good Conduct Medal.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; Grace Stone, sisters; Effie Bryant and Delli Thompson, brothers; Francis Stone and Roy Lee Stone. He is survived by his wife; Danea Stone, 3 sons; Randy Stone and wife Donna, Rex Stone and wife Jan, and Dennie Stone, 3 sisters; Elizabeth Sweat and husband Kenneth, Dorothy Longino and husband Richard, and Kitty Vines, 1 brother Lonnie Stone and wife Virginia, 9 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons.

and the VA Hospital.
