Services for Mrs. Hazel J. Brown, 90, of Shreveport, LA will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Tom Howe of Christ United Methodist Church where Mrs. Brown was a longtime member. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, LA. Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Mrs. Brown entered into rest on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Grace Home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Savannah, GA and had lived in Shreveport for almost 40 years. She was a homemaker, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband Paul A. “Andy” Brown and her three brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Dykes and her husband Danny; three sons, Paul and his wife Terry, Charles Brown, and Michael Brown and his wife Sue; six granddaughters and three grandsons; six great grandsons; two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
