Esther Eastman Turner

Of Benton, LA. Esther Eastman Turner a native of Shreveport, LA. was born on August 30, 1925. She went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2014 after a brief illness. Visitation for Esther Eastman Turner will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:30 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd. Shreveport, LA 71108. Officiating the services will be Pastor Robert Beadle of First Baptist Church in Benton, LA. Mrs. Turner was active in the Shriners and Woodman of the World Association. She is preceded in death by husband; Hulen Levant Prescott, husband; Henry “Hank” Turner, daughter; Joan Campbell Jones, and great granddaughter Tiffany Trevino. Here to cherish her memories are daughter; Cherie Campbell Johnson, son; James Robert Campbell II and his wife Bonnie, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be family and friends. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as someone who always helped anyone that was in need. Family would like to express special thanks to the entire staff at Garden Court Rehab in Bossier City for their capable and abundant tender loving care and words of wisdom.
